The Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs Martin Zeil will be discussing the concerns of Austrian companies in Bavaria with Dr. Christoph Leitl, President of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. The event will also be used to present the results of a study of satisfaction. Invest in Bavaria had already asked Austrian companies operating in Bavaria in advance, to assess Bavaria as a business location. The LfA Förderbank Bayern (LfA Development Bank Bavaria) will also be presenting government financial support and promotion possibilities so that the companies can make full use of the current growth phase after the economic crisis.

There are already over 400 Austrian companies with a base in Bavaria. This figure confirms the strong partnership that exists between Austria and Bavaria. Key reasons for this are the attractive market with high purchasing power and the close proximity to Austria.

It is the utmost concern of both the Bavarian Economic Minister and Invest in Bavaria as well as the President of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and the Austrian Trade Commission in Munich to foster and further intensify the close economic ties between Bavaria and Austria.

After the information event held in the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology, the participants will have the opportunity to attend the summer reception of the Austrian Consulate General in Munich.
